Cymbals Eat Guitars announce debut UK single and live dates!
Cymbals Eat Guitars just self-released their debut album in the US with everyone from Pitchfork to The Wrens’ front man, Charles Bissel, heaping praise on the record (Bissel declared “I’ll be the first to go on record saying that Cymbals Eat Guitars will end up indie famous within the year”)
.
The band’s debut UK single ‘…And The Hazy Sea’ (out in August) is a multi-layered, six minute gate-crasher taking in howling guitars, time signatures changes and moments of beatific calm.
Rough Trade has invited them over to play their “Rough Trade presents…” night at The ICA on July 7th.
