Japandroids return for UK tour and new single
After a string of triumphant debut shows in the UK last year, which saw the Vancouver two-piece bring their explosive live act to packed out audiences, Japandroids return to Europe for a tour next month to proceed new single Rockers East Vancouver out March 1st on Polyvinyl.
Rockers East Vancouver is a highlight of the duo’s debut album: a bedlam of riotous garage rock that thunders past in a fit of youthful nostalgia. What marks Japandroids out from other guitar/drums duos is their hooks and melodies are never compromised by the band’s visceral energy and lo-fi production.
