I love the Lost Prophets sound, it has sort of evolved over the years. The guitars are really clean with a touch of that dreamy sound and the vocals work over it well. They are extremely smart song writers too with flowing melodies and harmonies all going. All great stuff, I haven't heard the new album yet but still really only getting into the old stuff at the moment.

Everyone asks me what the big draw of Lostprophets is: all they need to do is read the review above. Explains everything to new and old fans alike. Huge fan of the versatility that Ian Watkins shows in his voice. Can change perfectly with the tempo of the song, but still be the Ian Watkins we all love (musically that is, trying hard not to sound like a girl)... "Streets of Nowhere" is one of my favs from The Betrayed, it is a great sing-along song and is rather different from Dstyr/Dstyr, but still sounds like Lostprophets. I heard a lot of rubbish from people I know about the "la-la-la" bit in Streets, however they liked Town Called Hypocrisy which also includes "la-la-la"... Where We Belong is fantastic and is a huge crowd pleaser (or it was in Leeds when I went to see Lostprophets). Love the way the guys have grown up but definitely nothing is lost. Great review of a brilliant album. Well worth the wait...
