Hello everyone-
Greetings from Richmond, where we had the luxury of an off day in such a kind and beautiful city. I just looked at our tour schedule with clear eyes for the first time and I realize we are doing 15 shows in 21 days! Old school style; gotta keep moving against the dawn.
For anyone who has followed my occasional tweets/bleats at/on twitter.com/Billy, I’ve been very vocal about how pleased and delighted I am with this tour. The fans have been fantastic and so, so supportive, and with that kind of love coming our way the shows have gone very well. Honestly, it has been better than I could have hoped for and quite inspiring to the band for what is possible for ol’ SP in the future. So please keep coming if you can, we appreciate you so much.
One small piece of news: it looks like we will be touring much of September in America in support of our new song. Thanks so much to the radio stations that have already picked up on playing it! Because of that success we’ll be coming to a lot of familiar places/cities/stomping grounds. Those dates we’ll be getting announced real soon. So lots of good news ahead.
Don’t forget the people in the Gulf region! Our love to anyone affected by what is going on down there. And that included all of our beautiful wildlife…
